What HiveStyle is

HiveStyle is a browser-based styling tool operated by Hive-Secure. In the current free beta, Hive-Secure does not operate an application backend that receives or stores your garment images, prompts, or API keys. Basic website traffic information is processed through Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Website analytics

HiveStyle uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic website usage, such as page views, referring sites, browser type, and approximate geographic region. HiveStyle does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers. Cloudflare processes this information according to its own privacy terms.

What data leaves your browser

When you generate outfit combinations, HiveStyle sends the following directly from your browser to third-party AI providers:

• Your garment photo (as a base64-encoded image) — sent to Google Gemini for colour and style analysis
• Your garment photo — sent to OpenAI for image generation via gpt-image-2
• Text prompts describing your style preferences — sent to both providers

These transmissions are made using your own API keys. Hive-Secure does not see, intercept, or store your images or prompts. Processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

What is stored locally in your browser

The following application data is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to Hive-Secure by the current beta application:

• Your Gemini and OpenAI API keys
• Your selector preferences, such as gender, body size, height category, style vibe, and budget
• Up to 4 recent outfit sessions (as compressed images)
• Usage statistics (runs, costs, token counts)

You can remove recent outfit history using the "Clear all" function in the Recent Sessions panel. To remove API keys, preferences, usage statistics, logs, and all other local HiveStyle data, clear the browser's site data for hivestyle.hive-secure.com.

Do not upload sensitive images

Do not photograph garments in a way that includes identifiable personal information — faces, documents, or other people. HiveStyle is designed for clothing photos only.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated before any server-side features are introduced. Significant changes will be announced on the HiveStyle landing page.
